Martin Koorts

Prior to joining Talking Point in 2018, Martin Koorts worked as a Clinical Psychologist for the Taranaki District Health Board since arriving in New Plymouth in 1994.

Before completing his training overseas, he worked in different roles in the mining and manufacturing industries.

He has received post graduate training in different approaches to psychotherapy which enables him to use an eclectic approach in his work with clients.

He is interested in working with clients who are struggling with mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, the impact of trauma, or unrewarding relationships.

Martin and his wife enjoy living in New Plymouth and having contact with their adult children who now live overseas.
