Dr Adrienne Wootton

Adrienne is a Registered Clinical Psychologist and member of the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists.

Adrienne completed her PhD in Psychology and Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology at The University of Waikato. During that time, she researched ways to deepen understanding of Parkinson’s disease and better manage the psychological impacts of that condition. Adrienne spent 2021 completing her training as an Intern Clinical Psychologist in Hamilton and Rotorua, before relocating to Wellington. Her internship involved working in community mental health and in a rehabilitation service for physical injury and illness.

Adrienne enjoys working with a range of mental health and life difficulties. She works mostly with adults and has a special interest in supporting people who live with chronic pain or are struggling to adjust to a long-term medical condition.
