Kelly is a Clinical Psychologist at the Wellington TalkingPoint office. After having a career in Marketing, Kelly finally admitted to herself that what she really wanted to do was become a Psychologist. She returned to university as a “mature” student and completed the Clinical Psychology programme at Victoria University of Wellington. During this time she completed an Honours and Masters research project about how different ways of introducing the “ground rules” of forensic interviews impact the responses that children give. She completed her psychology internship at Corrections, working with men and women both in prison and in the community.
Kelly predominantly works with adults and is passionate about trauma-informed approaches which empower people to live closer to their values.
