Tertia Myers

Tertia (“Tersha”) Myers is a clinical psychologist who has over 16 years’ experience. She is registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board and a member of the New Zealand Psychological Society. Having completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology with distinction, Tertia started working with in the field of personality disorders and other mental health challenges. Initially this was within the hospital setting, but she then moved into her own private practice. Recently, she has been working primarily with adolescents in the community health setting and with adults and couples within her private practice in Waikanae, Kapiti Coast. She has a wide range of interests, but a special interest in the effects of trauma and difficulties of establishing a meaningful relationship with oneself and others. Tertia prefers to work with adults on a slightly longer-term basis, especially where there are significant difficulties or where there has been trauma.
